Description
Overview
The UTS3000A-TDD-LTE adds TDD-LTE downlink demodulation and analysis per 3GPP specifications. The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the spectrum analyzer's serial number and is permanent for the life of the instrument.
Key Features
- TDD-LTE Demodulation — EVM, frequency error, and modulation quality per 3GPP.
- Channel Measurements — Channel power, ACLR, spectral emission mask.
- Constellation/EVM — Constellation diagrams and EVM for QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM.
- Lifetime License Activation — activate once, owned for the life of the instrument. No subscriptions, no renewals, no maintenance fees.
When You Need This Option
The option fits the following workflows:
- Base Station Testing — Verify TDD-LTE transmitter against 3GPP specifications.
- RF Component Characterization — Test amplifier linearity with TDD-LTE signal.
Compatibility
This option is compatible with all UTS3000A Series spectrum analyzers: UTS3015A (1.5 GHz), UTS3026A (2.6 GHz), UTS3036A (3.6 GHz), UTS3046A (4.5 GHz). The same capability is offered on other UNI-T spectrum analyzer families: UTS5000A, UTS7000A.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this option activated?
The option is enabled by a software license keyed to the spectrum analyzer's serial number. After purchase, the license is registered on the UNI-T website to generate the license file, which is then loaded onto the spectrum analyzer from a USB drive through the option-install menu. Refer to the spectrum analyzer's user manual for the step-by-step procedure.
Is the license permanent, or does it require renewal?
The license is permanent — a one-time purchase that stays active for the life of the instrument. No subscriptions, no annual renewals, and no expiration.
